Life Celebration Slide Show

Our Life Celebration program is another name for our in-patient and out-patient support group. It's our favorite because we get to go to the hospitals and support all the Joeys and Marshas one on one. We provide arts and crafts, movies, raffles, games and prizes as well as peer socialization. During some events we also have loads of food. The out-patient events are filled with bowling and miniature golf just to name a couple of activities. Our main goal is to provide a unique experience for the children and families while in active treatment.

The needs this program addresses are many such as providing an opportunity to be a normal kid. A huge benefit is decreasing the need for pain medication. We have an unwavering commitment to deliver this program with excellence to all the Joeys and Marshas. Here are the photos for our life celebrations at our various hospital partners for you to enjoy. Merry Merry Christmas!!

Ho Ho Ho - It's our Christmas Life Celebration at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in the Zone on December 18th, 2022. A HUGE shout out to my awesome team - Brenda, Alli, Quade, Mary, Deena, Suzy, Matty, and Ariel!! They rocked it!! Thanks to our partners Toys for Tots who provided the toys at this event! Enjoy! It's Halloween BOO BASH time again!!

We're back!! It's been 3 years since our last Halloween Boo Bash. Covid still depressed the number of children and family members that attended with only 30. But, we will take that number anyday compare to not hosting a Boo Bash at all. Thank you to Kalli and Brenda for helping us support this FUN event. Enjoy!
Ho Ho Ho - Merry Christmas!!

Ho Ho Ho - It's our Christmas Life Celebration at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in the Michael Fux Family Center on December 20th. We served dozens of children and family members. Thanks to our partnership with Toys for Tots - we gave away a lot of Merry Christmases. A HUGE shout out to my awesome team Marta, Silvia, Carlos, Diana, Renatha, and Isabella. They rocked it! Boo!! Bash Time

Enjoy a glimpse of our 2019 Halloween Boo Bash at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital on October 27th. Our amazing team supported over 50 children and family members. Thanks to Amy, Sarah, Taylor and the Quirk family - William, Michael, and Meghann. Many blessings!
It's Hawaiian Luau Tiki Time!!

Can you say Tiki Time? What an amazing event at Nicklaus Children's Hospital on August 9th in the Michael Fux Family Center. There was flip flop and cookie decorating - bingo - tattoos and face painting polished off with raffles. Tons of pizza and Capri Suns made the children and families very happy. It's Mother's Day 2019!!

It's Hawaiian Luau Time!!!

Our Annual Hawaiian Luaus on Thursday, August 9th at Joe DiMaggio and Friday, August 10th at Nicklaus were a tiki blast with flip flop decorating and more. My amazing team at Joe DiMaggio included Belkis, Marco, Ioanna, MaryAnn, Shantell, Christian, and Natalie. My amazing team at Nicklaus included Karina, Kimberly, Valentina, Camilla, Marilyn, Bella, Mya, Alina, and LUIS as Sponge Bob Squarepants. Thanks sooo much guys for all you did to make this a success for the children and families who participated! We expanded to a second location at Nicklaus Children's Hospital on the 6th floor tower-- where the bone marrow transplant unit is located. Enjoy the slideshow! Many blessings!!
Happy Mother's Day!!!

My team and I had an amazing time at our Mother's Day Life Celebration as we supported over 130 children and their families. A HUGE Thank you!! to Rachel, Lewis, and Jeffery!! That's right just a team of 3 got it done. Give God what you have and He will multiply it. Can you say 2 fish and 5 loaves to feed 5,000? Thank you Abba!!
Boo!!!!!

Another FUN year at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital for our annual Halloween Boo Bash. Thank you to the members of College Girls Rock, Inc. - Chanelle, Kijah, Ashlee, Kell, Jasmine, and Rachel from Kennesaw State University my alma mater as well as Stephanie AKA Captain Americette :D and my childhood friend Venissa Batten-Armstrong. They made up my team during this wonderful event where we supported 50 children and their families.
It's Tiki Time!!

It was a great time at Nicklaus and Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital on Friday August 10th and Thursday August 11th. The Hawaiian Luaus were filled with lots of Tiki Time. Thank you to my amazing team - Ruby, Excel, Karla B., Karla F., and Stephanie!!
Happy Valentine's Day!

We are off to a great start in 2017 filled with LOVE at our Valentine's Day Life Celebration at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital on Saturday, February 11th. It was an arts & crafts event for the kids and spa day for the parents. But, as the pictures show - some of the kids got a massage as well.
